What Our Service Agreement Covers
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to the pest control work Kansas Pest Pros performs for homeowners and businesses across Kansas, including treatments for termites, bed bugs, rodents, ants, cockroaches, mosquitoes, ticks, wasps, spiders, and fleas, along with termite inspections and rodent exclusion work.
All pesticide use follows the product label as required by FIFRA and the Kansas Pesticide Law, K.S.A. 2-2438a et seq.
Our technicians hold Kansas commercial pesticide applicator certification, keep application records as state rules require, and follow EPA rodenticide label and bait-station directions wherever baits are used. We also comply with the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200, and coordinate with the Kansas Department of Agriculture, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, and the Douglas County Health Department when a situation calls for it.
Structural repairs, moisture correction, landscaping changes, and cleanup of animal waste fall outside this agreement. Those items need a separate written scope before we schedule anything.
Appointments, Changes, and Cancellations
You can book an appointment by phone, email, or through our website. Once we confirm a date and arrival window, we hold that slot for you. If you need to move or cancel a visit, please give us at least 24 hours notice so we can offer the time to another customer. Cancellations made with less notice may carry a trip charge, which we will always explain up front.
Sometimes weather, a locked gate, or an unsafe work area forces us to reschedule. When that happens, we will contact you the same day and set a new time that works.
If our technician finds a problem during the visit that falls outside the original scope say, a wasp nest in a spot we did not discuss we will stop, explain what we found, and get your approval before doing anything extra. No added work starts without your okay, either verbally on site or in writing.
Quotes, Pricing, and Payment Terms
Before any work begins, we provide a written estimate based on what we saw during the inspection and the treatment plan we discussed. The estimate lists the services covered, the products we expect to use, and the total price. Prices are good for 30 days from the date on the quote; after that, product and fuel costs can change, so we may need to refresh the numbers.
Payment is due when we complete the service, unless you have arranged a recurring plan or another schedule with us in writing. We accept card, check, and electronic payment.
If the job changes more square footage than described, a heavier infestation than expected, or extra follow-up visits you approve we will quote the difference before proceeding. You approve the change, we do the work, and the adjusted amount appears on your final invoice. We never bill for work you did not sign off on.
Our Workmanship Warranty
Kansas Pest Pros stands behind the quality of the treatments we apply. If a covered pest problem returns within the warranty period stated in your service agreement, we will come back and re-treat the affected areas at no additional labor charge. The length of coverage depends on the service some treatments carry 30 days of protection, while others, such as termite work, may include longer terms noted in your written agreement.
Coverage applies only to the areas and pests listed in your agreement. It does not cover new infestations introduced after our visit, structural conditions that let pests re-enter, or properties where sanitation issues, untreated moisture, or unauthorized repairs by others have undermined the treatment. Skipping recommended follow-up visits can also end warranty coverage.
If you think a treatment has failed, call us and describe what you are seeing. We will inspect, confirm whether the issue falls under warranty, and take care of it.
Limits on Our Liability
Our responsibility for any claim connected to the services we provide is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not responsible for damage or conditions that existed before our first visit, including hidden structural damage, pre-existing infestations in areas we did not treat, or problems caused by factors outside our control, such as neighboring properties or weather events.
We follow the pesticide product label as required by FIFRA and the Kansas Pesticide Law, K.S.A. 2-2438a et seq., and our applicators maintain the certification Kansas requires.
Records of each application are kept as state rules direct. Where rodenticides are used, we follow EPA label and bait-station directions. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited under Kansas law.
If something goes wrong, tell us promptly ideally within 30 days of the service so we can investigate while conditions are still clear.

Service Expert at Kansas Pest Pros
I started in pest control in Lawrence and learned how Kansas homes and buildings—from older wood-frame houses to newer construction—can face different pest pressures. I built this company to help people understand what’s attracting pests, what treatment involves, and how seasonal shifts in Kansas affect the next steps.
